| Description | The program utilizes a bio-psychosocial approach to assessment and treatment, and consists of the following: * Inpatient bed unit; * An outpatient service including a Young Adult Service targeted to those within the first five years of a diagnosed psychotic illness, providing consultation * assessment * treatment * rehabilitation * community reintegration support; * A Transitional Day Hospital that offers an intensive, individualized and goal-oriented program including education, and a social and recreational group post-discharge; * Ongoing support through the Royal Assertive Community Treatment Team and the Step Down Program; * Case Management Services (partnership with Mental Health Community Support Services); * Education; and Research Unit studying initiatives in the areas of psycho-pharmacology, psychosocial influences, neurocognition and family history. | |||
