| Description | Regional program provides early psychosis intervention through assessment, treatment and psycho-education for individuals and their families who are experiencing a first episode of pyschosis * service available at various locations throughout Southeastern Ontario | |||
| Eligibility | Ages: 14 year(s) - 35 year(s) The priority population is comprised of individuals between the age of 14 and 35 years old who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis, or who have not received previous treatment for psychosis * Young people may experience some of these symptoms: suspicion of others, problems sleeping, feeling depressed or low, quiet or withdrawn, tense, afraid or anxious or puzzled about strange experiences * 3 out of 100 young people experience these symptoms | |||
